plastic with rought textured

Hi everybody,
I need to render a plastic bottle with a rought textured as next image:

How can I do it without separate in various surfaces.

Hey! You should be able to do this pretty easily. Open the material graph of the plastic. Drag your b/w texture into the graph. Drag the connector to the ‘+’ symbol of the plastic node and connect it to the ‘roughness’ socket on the plastic. You will probably need to adjust the mapping, of your texture. Select the texture node and press ‘c’ on your keybaord to preview in color. Adjsut the texture mapping as desired, then exit color preview mode by pressing ‘c’ again.

If you want to control a bump texture instead of roughness, you can do this by plugging the texture into ‘bump height’ on the plastic node. Then, plug a noise texture into the ‘bump’ socket on the plastic node.

You can dial in the actual bump height or roughness values by using a color to number node between the texture and the plastic.

The result is exactly what I wanted to achieve.
I didn’t know the “bump height” as texture.
